TODAY’S WORD…
.
Your body, you know, is the temple of the Holy Spirit,
who is in you since you received Him from God.
You are not your own property; you have been bought and paid for.
That is why you should use your body for the glory of God.
– 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

REFLECTION…
.
In today’s society, men and women are bombarded with sensual impressions.
It is made to appear that every woman in the world dresses to attract for the wrong reasons.
To dress in a provocative manner, seems to be becoming the norm,
and all are being made to think that this is what every man wants.
.
A woman’s dress often reflects her heart
and what’s in her heart is important.
If pleasing God is in her heart,
then she’ll be able to resist the temptation to dress sensually
…and go against the tide of society.
.
The way a mother dresses,
sets the example…to her daughters…as well as to her sons.
.
Christians are so often called to go against the tide,
and this we should accept as a privilege, not a curse!

QUOTE…
.
“Purity is the glory of the human body in God’s sight.
It is the glory of God in the human body”
– Saint John Paul II

PRAYER…
.
Lord, it is You we want in our heart and it is You we want to follow,
not any trend, fashion or attitude which desecrates Your Temple
and replaces Your glory with a lie.
.
Holy Spirit, help me always remember who I am: Your Temple!
