TODAY’S WORD…

Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plough up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that He may come and shower righteousness upon you.

REFLECTION…

The seed of the Lord is the most desirable of all – it is the seed of love. For me to be filled with God’s love, I must plough deeply into my heart, even if it hurts, and open it up to provide fertile furrows for God’s seed to settle in and grow. Then I will carry on seeking God, and his Word will provide all the nutrients that the soil of my heart needs to provide for a strong crop, and the Living Water, which pours out from God’s heart, will make sure that His seeds of love will grow filling my heat with His grace and producing fruit in abundance.

PRAYER…

My Lord and my God, Fountain of Living Water,

fill me with determination and the internal strength

to plough deep furrows into my heart

until I break up its thick and hard surface to let You in.

Help me, Lord, prepare a fertile place

for the seed of Your love to settle in and take root.

Lord, I so want to be filled with Your love,

that I may gladly reap the fruit

and also share the abundance, while singing Your praises,

with all who I come in contact with.

Amen, O Lord, Amen!
