TODAY’S WORD…and PRAYER
.
“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honour and power,
for You created all things,
and by Your will
they existed and were created.”
.
– Revelations 4:11 (NRSV)
.

.
REFLECTION…
.
We praise and honour and worship God
as our Creator.
.
Unfortunately, the world today
does not appear to want to enthusiastically honour the Lord God.
.
Though mankind benefits from His goodness
and lives in a universe of His creation,
we Christians, of the so-called Western World,
seem to have a regrettable tendency
to neglect the worship of God.
.
Am I one of these “Christians”?
.
Do I praise and worship the Lord my God
by devoting time to Him;
by wholeheartedly honouring Sunday;
by what I do, say, or think?
.
Or don’t I?
.
.
.
PRAYER…
.
You are worthy, my Lord and God,
to receive glory and honour and power,
for You created all things,
and by Your will
they existed and were created.
.
Lord, mark my heart indelibly;
Brand me as one of Yours.
Fill my mind with true love,
and let me always praise and worship You
as my Lord, my God, my Creator.
.
For this I pray in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.
.
.
.
REPETITIVE PRAYER FOR TODAY…
.
My Lord and my God, You are worthy!

YEAR OF FAITH 2012-2013
FROM THE CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH…
.
Without the Creator, the creature vanishes.
This is the reason why believers know
that the love of Christ urges them to bring the light of the living God
to those who do not know him or who reject him.
