“a Lamp to my feet. a Light for my path.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. TIME TO SAY GOODBYE.

TODAY’S WORD…

Everything Has Its Time

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to throw away;
a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.

– Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

GOODBYE…

Yes, it is time for us to say goodbye. Sadly, I am no longer able to carry on as this blog’s administrator and contributor, and today’s will be the last of the regular posts.  The blog and all past posts will, however, remain available…for reference, for reflection, for prayer…

Please let us keep one another in our prayers, please keep the Christ the King Prayer Group in your prayers and, most importantly, let us all make it a point to remember that it is always the time for us to embrace God’s Word and to making it a Lamp to our feet and a Light for our path.

God’s blessings.

PRAYER…

Eternal God,

Your Word is a Lamp to my feet

and a Light for my path.

Teach me the true way of prayer;

nourish me by Your Word;

fill me with Your Spirit;

and give me the grace to please You in all that I do.

My Lord and my God,

help me get to know you better

so that day by day, through Your Word,

I may enter into the fullness of life.

Amen.

    Thank you for having kept this going for so long.

    I looked forward to these daily updates and dedicated a few minutes each day to extricate myself mentally from my day in order to read and focus on the Word within these emails.

    God bless you for having made this wonderful contribution.

    With thanks Michèle

    Dear Joe.
    we too would like to thank you for your time in delivery to us all ” The Lamp ”
    on a daily basis. I know many who received the lamp and used the wise and holy words
    as a base for a short time of prayer and sometimes meditation.
    We shall all miss this daily initiative which has been part of our lives for so many years.
    God bless,
    Liz and Neville
