TODAY’S WORD…
.
You love Him even though you have never seen Him.
Though you do not see Him now, you trust Him;
and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy.
.
The reward for trusting Him will be the salvation of your souls.
.
– 1 Peter 1:8-9

.
REFLECTION…
.
“Blind faith!” – a phrase used derogatively
against Christians who express and practice their beliefs,
and who place their full trust in God.
.
Our faith is not “blind” at all
– not when we enter into a personal relationship with Jesus,
or when we welcome the Holy Spirit and allow Him to counsel us,
to speak to us and enlighten us through the Word of God
as we pray and meditate on the One who loves us so.
.
.
.
PRAYER…
.
My Lord and my God,
I praise and thank You for giving me “eyes of faith”
to see and acknowledge the truth of Your resurrection
and victory over sin and death.
.
It is with a believing and loving heart
that I live and pray with determined hope
that I will, one day, see You face to face
and share in Your everlasting Glory and Joy.
.
Lord Jesus, may I never fail
to recognise Your voice;
to acknowledge Your love;
to lose sight of Your presence by my side.
.
Amen.
