“a Lamp to my feet. a Light for my path.” – Psalm 100:2-3,5

.

TODAY’S WORD…

.

Cry out with joy to the Lord, all the earth.

Serve the Lord with gladness.

Come before Him, singing for joy.

.

Know that He, the Lord, is God.

He made us, we belong to Him,

we are His people, the sheep of His flock.

.

Indeed, how good is the Lord,

eternal His merciful love.

He is faithful from age to age.

.

REFLECTION…

.

Even in the midst of suffering and pain, and of problems, difficulties and let-downs,

we must encourage our heavy heart and set our soul free,

and allow us to acknowledge our Maker

and shout for joy,

worship with gladness,

with joyful songs,

with thanksgiving,

with praise,

and to give thanks to Him and praise His name. .

.

The Lord knows me inside out,

and He relishes my internal joy and gladness in Him,

and will help me bring it to the surface.

QUOTE…

.

“There’s nothing more contradictory than an unenthusiastic Christian.

.

The Bible tells us that God loves us so much,

in fact, that God gave His only Son

so that all who believe in Him will have everlasting life.

.

Nothing not even death can separate us from God’s love!

If we really believe that, we can’t help but overflow with joy!”

PRAYER…

.

Holy Spirit, come into my heart

and help me move my focus away from myself and on to Jesus,

who frees and uplifts my soul and brings back my joy.

.

Come Holy Spirit, come, that I may again sing for joy to Jesus my Lord!
