TODAY’S WORD…
.
“Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be.
Remind me that my days are numbered – how fleeting my life is.
.
You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand.
My entire lifetime is just a moment to You;
at best, each of us is but a breath.”
.
We are merely moving shadows,
and all our busy rushing ends in nothing.
We heap up wealth,
not knowing who will spend it.
.
“And so, Lord, where do I put my hope?
My only hope is in You.”
.
– Psalm 39:4-7 (NLT)

REFLECTION…
.
“Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be.
Remind me that my days are numbered – how fleeting my life is.”
I need pray to the Lord,
and ask Him to help me realise how fleeting this life is
and how He would like me to handle it.
Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
so that we may grow in wisdom. (Ps 90:12)
.
Gently and lovingly, my God will show me the way.
As I kneel quietly in His presence, I ask for His forgiveness and implore His compassion
and He will seek my trust and will fill me with hope.
.
As I look at Jesus with a determination to live my life in accordance with His Gospel, all shackles will be removed and joy restored in my heart.

.
PRAYER…
.
Lord, teach me, lead me – my hope is in You.
