There are many reasons to praise God,
but His powerful presence must rank number one,
We praise God because He is the Creator and we are His creatures.
The Lord our God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving.
and we praise Him for what He is, first of all.
What He does for us comes second.

This Psalm praises God for what He is,
and it begins with praise for the power of His word.
His word is faithful and true,
and He blesses those who follow His covenant with sincere hearts,
saving them even from death.

As Christians, we place our hope in the Lord, who is our help and our shield;
we wait faithfully for Him to act;
and, we call out to Him, full of trust in His power and unfailing love.

Thanks for the quotes from Psalm 33. Yes we give thanks and praise for the Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit who cares and loves us so very much. We heartily love to sing praises in honour of God Almighty. Our God is Great . We thank Him for creating Heaven and Earth. We love Him and thank Him for the Great Caring He has for us. We are so very fortunate that we can enjoy His Holy Presence in the Holy Eucharist through when He Comes so very near in our Heart and it is so very good that we can Adore Him in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. We thank God for all the Sacraments but especially for the Institution of Priesthood by which The Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ who had ascended into Heaven has remained with us in this Holy and Blessed Sacrament of The Altar. Thank You O Most Loving God for wanting to remain with us human beings. Thank You for the Pope and Priesthood who give us the Holy Sacraments.
