TODAY’S WORD…
.
I love you, Lord;
You are my strength.
.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
and my place of safety.
.
– Psalm 18:1-2 (NLT)

REFLECTION…
.
If Jesus isn’t in my heart,
if His Gospel doesn’t strengthen me,
then routine takes over and exhaustion and discouragement.
Jesus is our Rock, our Fortress, our Saviour and our Shield.
Above all He is our Lord, our God, and we must trust Him.

QUOTE…
.
"O my God, who first gave me the help of Your call so that I could trust in You!
.
My protector, the guarantor of my well-being, and my redeemer;
You are my protector because I did not rely on my own resources,
did not raise the weapon of pride against You.
.
You Yourself became my weapon:
I found the sure strength of salvation,
in such a way that as soon as You made it known to me You redeemed me.”
.
– St. Augustine
