I contemplate on You, my Lord Jesus,

and my heart is filled with a meaningful silence,

which my intellect interprets as the presence of God

– a caring, listening, and understanding God,

who sacrificed Himself out of love for me.

I look at You, my Lord,

and You look at me,

and I know You are God.

You know me inside out;

You know my thoughts;

You know my past;

You know all there is to know about me

– lead me into my future, O Lord.
