TODAY’S WORD…
.
Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? . .
Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their saviour.
.
– Psalm 24:3-5 (NLT)

REFLECTION…
.
What is required to enable us enter into worshipful communion with the Lord?
What will prepare us for heaven?
Who is worthy to stand before God?
.
Above all, we must be upright in external conduct
and our heart must also be pure.
“Hands” and “hearts” refer to both our action and intentions
– the whole of our being should reflect purity of motive and of thought.
.
Another requisite concerns lies.
We are not to worship idols or have false gods, which are “lies”.
We ourselves must, of course, be sincere,
we must love the truth and not indulge in deceitfulness.
.
We must never forget
that God sees inside our hearts and minds!
.
.
.
PRAYER…
.
Look inside my heart, O Lord,
and there You will see all that I am and do,
all that I’ve been and done,
all that I desire to be and to do.
.
Lord, wash me clean,
and renew my heart, my mind, my body, my soul.
.
My entire being yearns for You,
to be with You,
to be like You,
to be one with You.
.
Lord, You are welcome in my heart!
.

.
REPETITIVE PRAYER FOR TODAY…
.
Lord, make me more like You!
