TODAY’S WORD…

But our citizenship is in Heaven,

and it is from there

that we are expecting a Saviour,

the Lord Jesus Christ.

REFLECTION…

.

All of us have a right to Heavenly citizenship,

but in order to claim that right

we must make continuous efforts

to live in a manner worthy of citizens of Heaven;

to live a life that is joyful and full of hope, as befits children of God.

Christ fills us with hope

and gives us encouragement in our everyday struggles

as we seek, in love and faith, to be like Him

in both joy and suffering,

in both life and death.

"If we have died with Him, we shall also live with Him;

if we endure, we shall also reign with Him." (2 Tim 2:12)
