REFLECTION…

.

For those who know Jesus,

for those who have a personal relationship with Him,

these words sum it all up.

.

These words of Christ,

these deep and meaningful words,

should be, for the believer,

a gloriously reassuring statement.

.

If I read these words

and they do not stir my soul

with love and yearning for Jesus,

then I should ask myself

if it is time

for me to examine my life;

to see if I have lost my way;

to see whether I am closing my mind to the truth

…and why!

My Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the Way, the Truth and the Life for all creation;
grant me the grace to walk in Your way,
to rejoice in Your truth,
and to share Your risen life.
