PRAYER…

Lord Jesus,

thank You for every day of this year.

Lord, I thank You from the bottom of my heart.

.

You have been my Strength,

You have carried me through the year

and helped me in all that it brought along with it.

You have always been there right beside me,

giving me hope and gladness in the tranquil and joyful moments,

and comfort and peace when I was troubled, anxious and distressed.

.

Here I am, Lord,

You brought me through,

and my heart is filled with praise for You!

.

You have been my Shield, Lord,

protecting and guarding me

with Your love, power and faithfulness.

You are my divine Whisperer in those moments of weakness;

my Defender always,

and my Saviour forever.

.

Here I am, Lord,

and as my heart, my mind, my soul leap with joy

and give You praise and thanks for all that You have done,

grant that I will always acknowledge and trust in You, my Helper,

not just today,

but every day of my life.
