Our soul is waiting for the Lord.

The Lord is our help and our shield.

In Him do our hearts find joy.

We trust in His holy name.

Our heavenly Father has made Himself so very approachable.

Abba loves us so much

that He sends His only Son to become one like us.

Abba sends Immanuel

…and there is great expectation and joy

in the hearts of the humble and of those of good will,

as they acknowledge that God is with us!

PRAYER…

.

Where would I be without You, O Lord?

How sad a creature I would be;

how empty;

how lost;

how useless;

how weak and defenceless!

.

But Jesus, You are with me

– my help and my strength,

my shield and my defender.

.

With You by my side, I am strong,

and my soul is filled with hope

and with abundant joy

as it acknowledges You as Lord

and sings to You, my Saviour.
