TODAY’S WORD…
.
Jesus said,
“He is not the God of the dead, but of the living,
for to Him all are alive.”
.
– Luke 20:38 (NIV)
.
.
.
REFLECTION…
.
Jesus is asserting the truth of the resurrection of the dead.
There is no God of the dead
and all who have the Almighty as their God
and are found worthy,
shall live on to enjoy Him…forever.
.
.
.
PRAYER…
.
I believe in You, Lord God,
Father Almighty,
Creator of Heaven and Earth,
and in Jesus Christ
Your Only Son, our Lord.
.
Yes, Lord, I believe
– with all my heart.
.
I believe
in the resurrection of the body
and life everlasting.
.
I believe,
because through Your Holy Spirit,
and by Your grace,
I have been touched by Your Word.
.
Lord Jesus, I believe in You,
and I believe that You are
the Way, the Truth and the Life.
.
Thank You for my faith, Lord,
and thank You for giving me life.
.
Thank You for saving me
and redeeming my soul for life everlasting.
.
Amen.
.
.
.
REPETITIVE PRAYER FOR TODAY…
.
Lord, thank You for saving me and giving me life!
.
.
.
YEAR OF FAITH 2012-2013
FROM THE CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH…
.
By death the soul is separated from the body,
but in the resurrection
God will give incorruptible life to our body,
transformed by reunion with our soul.
.
Just as Christ is risen and lives for ever,
so all of us will rise at the last day.
