The Lord is my shield…

.

As for God, His way is perfect:

The Lord’s word is flawless;

He shields all who take refuge in Him. – 2 Sam 22:31

Surely, Lord, You bless the righteous;

You surround them with Your favour as with a shield. – Ps 5:12

.

My shield is God Most High,

who saves the upright in heart. – Ps 7:10

.

The Lord is my strength and my shield;

my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.

My heart leaps for joy,

and with my song I praise Him. – Ps 28:7

.

We wait in hope for the Lord;

He is our help and our shield. – Ps 33:20

O Lord, my God,
