Today…and everyday…

rather than let our burdens weigh us down

and set the mood for the rest of our day,

let us thank God for coming into our lives

and let us sing for joy to Him!

Let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation

to Him who died for us on the Cross to save us

and give us eternal life.

.

Instead of being inward looking and focusing on ourselves,

let us come before Him with thanksgiving

and let us thank Him for every breath that we take;

for every blessing received;

for always being their right by our side,

consoling us and guiding us through life’s ups and downs.

Today…and everyday…

don’t just call upon Jesus to ask Him for favours;

today…and everyday…

start off by thanking Him and praising Him;

today…and everyday…

put a smile on your face,

lift your hands up to the Lord,

and let your heart sing with peaceful joy!
